Scope
This policy applies to all students enrolled at Boise Modern Chinese School during school hours, on school premises, during school-sponsored activities (on or off campus), and while using school transportation or digital platforms provided by the school.
Student Conduct Expectations
Students are expected to:

Respect Others: Treat all students, staff, and visitors with courtesy, kindness, and respect, regardless of differences in race, gender, religion, or background. Harassment, bullying (verbal, physical, or cyber), discrimination, or intimidation is strictly prohibited.

Follow Instructions: Comply with directions from teachers, staff, and administrators in a timely and respectful manner.

Ensure Safety: Engage in behaviors that promote a safe environment. This includes avoiding physical altercations, unsafe actions, or possession of prohibited items (e.g., weapons, drugs, alcohol, or tobacco).

Uphold Academic Integrity: Complete all work honestly, avoiding cheating, plagiarism, or unauthorized collaboration.

Care for Property: Respect school property, including facilities, equipment, and materials, as well as the personal belongings of others. Vandalism or theft is prohibited.

Use Technology Responsibly: Follow the school’s acceptable use policy for digital devices and platforms. This includes avoiding inappropriate content, cyberbullying, or unauthorized access to systems.

Attend and Be Punctual: Attend classes and school activities on time, prepared to participate, with required materials.

Prohibited Behaviors

Consequences for Violations
Violations of the student conduct policy will result in disciplinary action, determined based on the severity and frequency of the offense. Consequences may include:

Written Warning: A formal notice documenting the violation, shared with the student and parent/guardian.

By enrolling at Boise Modern Chinese School, students and parents/guardians agree to abide by this conduct policy. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action as outlined above.
