Photo and Video Consent

By enrolling at Boise Modern Chinese School, parents/guardians consent to the school taking and using photographs or videos of students for educational, administrative, or promotional purposes, unless otherwise specified.
Parents/guardians may opt out of having their child’s images used for promotional purposes by submitting a written request to the school office at the start of the school year or within 30 days of enrollment.
The school will make reasonable efforts to exclude opted-out students from promotional materials, though incidental inclusion in group photos or event recordings may occur.

Data Sharing

Personal data may be shared: Internally with school staff or authorized personnel for educational or administrative purposes.
With third-party service providers (e.g., learning platforms, transportation services) under strict confidentiality agreements.

Parents/guardians who do not wish for their child’s image to be used in school promotional materials must submit a written opt-out request to school office email. This request must be renewed annually. The school will maintain a record of opt-out preferences and strive to honor them.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in laws, regulations, or school practices. Updates will be communicated to parents/guardians via email, the school website, or other official channels.

Acknowledgment

By enrolling at Boise Modern Chinese School, parents/guardians and students acknowledge and agree to this Private and Data Policy, including the use of photographs/videos for promotional purposes unless an opt-out request is submitted.
